Terms of Service

The short version. Nubi is a persistent virtual space for remote teams, classrooms and events. Use it for real work, treat other people well, pay for the seats you use, and we'll keep the lights on. The full terms below control if there's ever a conflict.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Nubi Technologies, S.L. ("Nubi", "we", "us"), a company registered in Madrid, Spain, and govern your access to and use of the Nubi web application, spaces, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, joining a space, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1.Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use Nubi, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher. If you use Nubi on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to accept these Terms for it.
- You're responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- Space administrators can invite, remove and assign roles to members, and may see space-level activity and content necessary to run the space.
- Tell us promptly at info@nubi.city if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
2.Plans, trials & billing
Paid plans are billed per active member — a member who joins your space at least once in a billing month. Our standard rate is €5.50 per active member, billed monthly in advance, unless your order form says otherwise.
- Free trial. New spaces may start a trial. If you don't cancel before it ends, the plan converts to paid and we charge the payment method on file.
- Changes. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice by email or in-product. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the new price.
- Refunds. Fees already charged are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period.
- Taxes. Prices exclude VAT and other applicable taxes, which are added where required.
3.Acceptable use
Nubi is a shared, real-time space. To keep it usable for everyone, you agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything illegal, or to harass, threaten, impersonate or harm others.
- Upload malware, attempt to breach or overload the Service, or circumvent access or usage limits.
- Record or transcribe others without a lawful basis or the notice their jurisdiction requires.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written agreement.
We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms, in serious cases without prior notice, and will restore access once the issue is resolved where practical.
4.Your content & our IP
You keep all rights to the content you create or upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. We own the Service itself — software, design and brand — and nothing here transfers those rights to you.
5.Warranties, liability & governing law
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nubi is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us during that period.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and the courts of Madrid have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.

Privacy Policy

The short version. We collect the minimum we need to run your space, we don't sell your data, and you can ask to see, correct or delete it at any time.
This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws.
1.What we collect

We use trusted processors (for hosting, payments and analytics) under contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only on our instructions. We don't sell personal data.
2.How long we keep it
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for a limited period afterwards to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution needs, then delete or anonymise it.
3.Your rights
- Access & portability — get a copy of your data.
- Rectification — correct data that's wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure & restriction — ask us to delete or limit processing.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Exercise any right by emailing info@nubi.city; we aim to respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or your local supervisory authority.
4.Security & transfers
We apply encryption in transit, access controls and regular reviews to protect your data. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. We use them to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how Nubi is used. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies in the consent banner, and change your choice any time in your browser settings.
